Armen Vardanyan will train the national team of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine

Two-time European champion, two-time silver medalist of the World Championships, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Beijing, Honored Master of Sports Armen Vardanyan will become a coach of the national team of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine in Greco-Roman wrestling.

The athlete approve it at the annual conference of the Association of Social Organizations "Union of Armenians of Ukraine."
 
On the 14th of December in Kiev at the annual conference of the Association of Social Organizations "Union of Armenians of Ukraine" the chairman of the sports committee of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine Suren Avakian initiated the creation of regional communities with sports teams in volleyball and indoor soccer. He also endorsed the idea of Ukrainian chess club.
 
As previously it was reported, the classes in Greco-Roman wrestling in the existing sports school of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine are conducted by the world-class athlete, Honored Coach of the Republic of Armenia, USSR champion, European champion, champion of international tournaments, the ex-coach of Armenia, Manvel Sahradyan, and Artush Tumanyan helps him. The section is not only for the members of the Armenian diaspora, but representatives of other nationalities as well.
